Join Wiregrass Alabama Area Health Education Center (WAAHEC) and Southeast Health with Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine for an in-person educational session designed to enhance provider knowledge and awareness of lupus in rural communities. This event is part of the American College of Rheumatology’s nationwide initiative to improve early diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care for patients with lupus.
This session is ideal for primary care providers, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical students, and other healthcare professionals committed to improving rural patient outcomes.
The Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. This activity is designated for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits and AOA 1A Credits.
