Support for Healthcare Providers, Students, & Communities in East-Central AL
At AHEC, we believe in all things healthcare. By collaborating with providers in East-Central Alabama, we’re streamlining the access to and quality of vital medical care. We’re also dedicated to supporting future healthcare providers across the state through financial and educational assistance for high school and college students.
As a community-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, the East Central Alabama Area Health Education Center (ECAAHEC) began serving the healthcare needs of the region in 2015. Through training, education, and helpful resources for healthcare professionals, we strengthen community access for patients today while inspiring the healthcare workforce of tomorrow.
