Open to a broader audience the series features expert speakers who provide insights into various healthcare subjects, offering a valuable extension of knowledge. Participation in these webinars is encouraged to enhance understanding across the spectrum of healthcare topics.
Bisahka “Pia” Sen, PhD

Dr. Bisahka “Pia” Sen is a tenured professor and the Blue Cross Blue Shield Endowed Chair in Health Economics. Her primary interest is investigating the determinants of health for vulnerable populations, with a focus on the role of policy and interventions at institutional, state, and federal levels. Particularly, she has developed an extensive research agenda focusing on health outcomes among Alabama residents.
